S.06/Careers

Two thirds of our supervisors started here as apprentices.

We would rather train someone up over six years than hire someone in for six months. If you want a trade and a ladder rather than a job, this is the right shop.

01

Why here

Underground work is hard, well paid and genuinely dangerous if done badly. We can only affect two of those three, so we take the third seriously.

C.01Employee ownership

Every permanent employee holds a stake through the trust. Profit share is paid on the same schedule to the face crew and the head office.

C.02Apprenticeship that finishes

Forty-two apprentices in programme, with a completion rate above ninety percent. Sponsored hours, not just a title.

C.03Rotations that hold

Published rotations, flights and camp included. Schedule changes get negotiated, not announced.

C.04Health monitoring

Dust, noise, diesel particulate and vibration exposure tracked per person and reported back to you.

C.05Local hiring first

Committed hiring targets with the communities and First Nations whose land each project sits on.

C.06Stop-work authority

Yours from day one, in writing, with no penalty attached to using it.
